I seem to have forgotten most of the things that have taken place in the past few weeks, thus I'm only blogging about this week. On Wednesday, I went running with love, to train for the I Will Run. Imagine only having trained once and 3 days later would be the fateful 10km event! I managed to cover 5km that day, running persistantly without stopping :) Hope I didn't tire love out because I know she had a bad headache the day before and didn't wish to go to school actually. After the run, we rested in the canteen while waiting for "someone". After "someone" finally returned, I don't know how everything happened but in the end I ate dinner with love, "someone", Felix and Cizhen. We went to Aston's at Serangoon Gardens. The food was not bad and reasonably priced as well haha. After a hearty debate plus laughing session (especially the train and jumping plus inertia joke) we were finally willing to head home. Took a cab with love, Felix and Cizhen to Kovan MRT Station while "someone" took a bus home haha.
Thursday was the day whereby I would be watching 'The Dark Knight' with love plus "someone". "Someone" agreed to treat love and I to the movie because we allowed "someone" to tag along haha. Anyway, after the inspiring and motivating talk by Dr William Tan, the 3 of us proceeded on to watch our movie. What happened after we left school was absolutely hilarious. love brought us to the busstop to take 136 to AMK Hub where the movie starts at 4.10. When we reached the busstop, it was already about 3.45? The hilarious part comes right after that. Upon reaching the busstop outside college, "someone" told us not to take 136 but to take 25 or 134 instead? So, those 2 buses were not located at the busstop we were at. We had to either go to the busstop behind our college, which meant walking back to college area, or walking slightly further to the busstop at the HDB area. "someone" said walking back to college area would make us look stupid so "someone" went to the further one instead. Love and I on the other hand didn't mind looking stupid so we proceeded to the busstop behind college. After finally reaching the busstop, we waited for the bus to come. Suddenly came "someone's" sms that "someone" was on bus 25 and it would be reaching our busstop soon. So love and I waited and to our horror, we had actually missed the bus because, although I had flagged for the bus, the bus driver ignored me?! Cleverly so, "someone" was afraid of being spotted by "another person" so "someone" didn't bother pressing the bell to hail the bus driver to halt. After which, we knew we couldn't make it in time for the 4.10 movie, thus we changed our destination to The Cathay instead, whereby the show would start at 4.35. "someone" had to alight at the next busstop and run to catch up with us while love and I walked back to the busstop where we had began our hilarious journey, to Kovan MRT Station. Following that, upon arriving at Doby Ghaut MRT Station, we made "someone" sprint to get our movie tickets, as it was already 4.30 and the movie would be starting soon. Love and I brisked walked to The Cathay, while "someone" was soon out of sight. "someone" then kept complaining about having to sprint twice and making him go on a wild goose chase in order to watch the movie. We did feel bad about it but it was also hilarious to the extent that love and I kept laughing throughout our journey to Doby Ghaut. Anyway, we bought popcorn and drinks, then went to catch our movie. We had reached just in time for the movie! 'The Dark Knight' wasn't as nice as the first Batman sequel but Joker, played by the late Heath Ledger, contributed most to the movie's appeal in my opinion. After the movie, we went to have dinner at PS foodcourt and took the MRT home soon after.
Friday was all about my waiting for love to finish her consultation while I did my work in the Library and after that we went to B4-2 to do more work. Well, actually I was the one doing work while love slacked all the way, busy playing with my handphone? haha. After about 2 hours, "someone" smsed love and as "someone" was feeling depressed, we asked "someone" to join us before "someone" actually ends up suicidal or something haha. We spent some time with "someone" and soon after "someone" left, we left as well, for dinner. Dinner was supposedly only for the both of us but I asked my sis to join as she would be home alone if she didn't. I tried my best to break the ice between love and my sis and eventually managed to. Chatted about different things, mainly on persuading my sis to study in SR plus join Shooting haha. After dinner, love walked both my sis and I home.
Saturday began early with the Will Run in the morning. I had only slept at 1 plus the "night" before and woke up at 5 plus, thus only having slept 4 plus hours. I kind of dreaded the run, as I really hated running and everytime I run, it would only be solely due to the need to run, such as training for napfa tests. To cut the story short, I managed 12km in total and was pleasantly surprised that I could complete 10km before the limit of 1hr 30min :) However, I was disappointed with myself for not being able to persevere throughout the 10km by running persistantly and not taking short walking breaks. Nevertheless, I was delighted that I had accomplished the feat :) I felt really energetic after the run, especially after having been given the energy booster (one of my favourite fruits, banana) by Deborah. Thanks Deborah for the banana haha. After the closing ceremony and all that jazz, love and I went for lunch together. We both felt kind of exhausted so we went to Heartland Mall whereby we ate at Sake Sushi. After lunch, love walked me home as usual then went home by herself.
I'm kind of looking forward to next week, especially Friday onwards, as it would be a rather slack weekend due to the Thanksgiving concert on Friday night with no lessons on Friday (Hurray =x) and there's supposed to be a Shooting outing on Friday as well. Monday would be a holiday due to National day (Yippee =x). A special day is coming up soon and I really wish everything would be perfect on that day. As for now, I wish every J2 a productive and not overly stressful mugging period for the upcoming Prelims which would be in 2 weeks.
