I decided to blog again today. I slept like a log today and only woke up around 1.30 in the afternoon? I guess I was just tired out from the outing yesterday after training and subsequently an extremely long phone session with my dear melia. We talked from 12 plus right up to 2 plus? haha. I could feel my handphone being heated up and my ear was aching. I'm begining to enjoy melia's company as the days go by and I really did miss her as she flew off to Bangkok this morning and won't be back until this Saturday evening. That would mean not being able to talk to her for 3 days and no smses from her as well. Fortunately, my dear was sweet enough to leave me personalised e-mails to last me for the 3 days. I really didn't peek and only read the e-mails at 12 midnight sharp haha. I'm so obedient. She also sent me an sms before departing and another e-mail at the airport internet booth :) The both of us started out as girlfriends rather awkwardly as I wasn't really used to her frequent messaging and phone calls? Not to mention the hugs and sending me home haha. Subsequently I began to discover all these actions as her unique way of expressing concern for a close friend and I also began to appreciate her actions more. She's really a sweet and caring friend which I never really had. Don't be mistaken, it's not that my friends aren't sweet and caring, just that melia really does alot more, so much so that LQ even jokingly remarked that she's like my bf. haha. melia truly plays a huge part of my life and she made me appreciate myself and treasure myself much more and she always makes me feel special and loved. She always tells me I'm really different from her other friends, that's why she calls me the 'pink rose' amongst the white roses haha. Anyway, if I continue talking about melia this post will never end so I just want to say thank you my love for everything you've done and I really appreciate all that. I prayed for your safety and I hope you enjoy your shopping trip and remember to eat ok? You're slim enough already so don't go on hunger strikes and lose weight ok? LOL! (LOL is not laugh out loud haha)

Yesterday was training in the morning followed by our shooting outing in the afternoon. Training was quite relaxing and I did feel extremely relaxed while shooting as compared to NUSIS. I was just wondering, "if only I could feel the same, relaxed way during NUSIS then maybe I could have attained my next PB?" I don't know how different it would have been if I had felt very relaxed but I definitely would have felt less awful! Anyway, it's all over now and no use for regrets. I believe NUSIS was a lesson for me to learn from for my upcoming Nationals and I'm going to treasure this learning opportunity, as well as every training session. There was a photo shoot for our college annual after training. Fortunately or unfortunately, I had just ended training so I was still in my shooting suit when the photographer with his 3 assistants arrived. As a result, I was picked as one of the "models" for individual shots, together with LQ and Shuqi for Riflers, while melia, Oswald and Sigit were picked as Pistoler "models" haha. I really hope all our photos taken will turn out nice. I felt really weird posing for photos in my suit, holding a rifle but with both eyes open instead of one closed...that feeling was tantamount to not looking through the peephole but rather looking through the rifle haha.

After training, I went home for lunch as my dad cooked and bathed before I got dressed up and met my other shooters who were having lunch at the eatery next to Kobayashi at Heartland Mall. We all then proceeded to take the train to Dhoby Ghaut where we were supposed to spend our time at The Mind Cafe. Halfway through our walk to The Mind Cafe, received a call from Felix who told us that LQ and himself were about to reach Dhoby Ghaut but they didn't know the way to the Cafe so the bunch of us waited for them at The Cathay before we proceeded to the Cafe together. I accompanied melia to buy her long awaited book 'Anyone Out There' by Marianne Keynes together with Huiqing. melia was really excited over purchasing the book to the extent of shouting "Thank you!" to the cashier. Thankfully the cashier was really friendly and didn't find melia weird or anything haha. After buying the book, we met up with the rest at Gramaphone and after which, met up with Felix and LQ after a short wait. We then proceeded to The Mind Cafe as a whole in the midst of a drizzle-showers of blessing I thought haha. We played a couple of games at the cafe but in 2 separate groups as we were too huge a number! Had quite alot of fun playing Snorta (my favourite), Jenga-truth or dare version, MAD (a game which lives up to its title), as well as that vampire memory game. After about 2 hours at the cafe, we proceeded to play Pool at Paradiz Centre upon the promoting by Lennon haha. I had the honour of having LQ as my coach for Pool again. This time he really stressed me with words like "must feel the ball... feel the angle...remember to spread out your fingers..." haha. Nevertheless, he was not bad a coach and I think I played pretty well yesterday and he thought so too haha. Dickson also taught me how to play pool like posture and 'drawback'. I totally forgot about 'drawback' as I wasn't taught that before during my previous Pool session with my shooters, which was also one of my first few times playing Pool. As a result, I was on the verge of winning the game with Huiqing, as well as the game with Lennon and Henry but lost both games due to not applying 'drawback' (the white ball fell into the hole along with the black ball!). Anyway, a valuable lesson of Pool was learnt yesterday and there really was a lot of fun playing Pool, especially with Lennon the joker around! There's this once where he insisted on helping me hit a ball and when he did, a few balls flew off the table and one even landed on a neighbouring table! I felt really embarrassed while Lennon just said "thanks ah" to the guy who handed us our ball in a cool fashion haha. After our Pool session, Dickson left to have dinner at home while the rest of us- myself, melia, LQ, Felix, Huiqing, Henry, Lennon, Timothy, Cizhen, Brenda, Trendy went to Subway where a couple of us ate dinner. We spent our time at Subway eating and playing 'Bridge' and halfway through our game Felix spotted Mark Lee, a local actor and informed the rest of us. All of us waved to him and he waved back haha. Our next activity was initially going for a drink at the Somerset pub, Rouge Outdoors (melia's and my favourite pub) but we ended up at The Coffee Connoisseur (TCC, my favourite joint!) instead as not many were in the mood to drink haha. I shared a Ti-Rum-Misu (Tiramisu but with alot of Rum added) with melia and also ordered a German Blend. The Ti-Rum-Misu wasn't satisfactory at all as I could hardly taste any liqour at all (I was thinking maybe the pastry chef forgot to add the liqour haha). After our drink, we parted ways at the train station.

Yesterday was Felix's birthday while today would be Lennon's and of course my father's birthday. Once again, I wish Felix, Lennon and my dad happy birthday although I had already wished all of them haha.

Tomorrow would be another round of training and my only wish is to continue excelling for each training and achieve my 39 plus during Nationals which is not very far away! Holidays are coming to an end and yet I'm so ill-disciplined and have alot of homework undone! All the best to myself for completing my homework! haha. Here's wishing everyone an enjoyable remaining June holidays and happy training tomorrow my dear shooters. May we shine during Nationals. Shoot for Legacy!
