Here I am, back again to post an entry after a really long time-so long until it doesn't match LQ's definition of frequent? haha. Logically speaking, from the perspective of any hardworking SR J2 student who is in the midst of Mid Years, blogging at this crucial juncture would definitely be a taboo. However, I don't really see myself as hardworking as yet, although I'm supposed to be! So, that logic doesn't apply to me for now haha. Anyway, the main crux of my entry is not about how I'm not supposed to be blogging, but whatever took place yesterday after Chem paper and training.

The day before the Chem paper was GP followed by Econs. Was mentally and physically drained after Econs ended and I really felt like giving up halfway through Econs because I was having a horrible migraine. Endured the horrible symptoms throughout the Econs paper and reached home worn out. Was supposed to study for Chem which I hadn't studied at all, with the exception of having studied 2 topics the week before (there are like 10 plus or maybe 20 plus topics altogether and I only studied 2...). Woke up just in time for dinner and was supposed to study Chem after that but somehow my mind told me "NO". Tried to hold on until I finally surrendered to my mind and slept at 10, redeeming myself by setting the alarm at 4am in the hope of being able to study for about 2 hours. As I predicted, the alarm was shut off after it rang and I went back into slumber. Only woke up at 6am and starred horrifically at the clock. My heart sank as I knew Chem was going to be hopeless as usual, although I really wanted to change my Chem tutor's perception of me as a 'U' student (well, U for University would be good but this 'U' i'm referring to has a negative connotation to it). Didn't feel like going to school after having breakfast as I was feeling unwell (same condition as Amelia!). Anyway, still went to school but totally regretted after looking at the questions in the exam script.

Chem paper was a horror! There were so many hilarious descriptions of our Chem paper made by my friends, one of which was my personal favourite, said by Amelia:"It was so easy that you can close the booklet after opening it". Lennon's definition was hilarious too: "Flip open to the first page, flip, flip, flip, huh? no more already arh? Ok lor, flip back to first page and write name" haha. Really very funny. Ok, enough of Chem. Now, for training...

Training was free and easy so I set myself my previously unattained target of 2 cards of 5 consecutive shots of '10' each. Finally managed that target after having shot about 8 cards. haha. When I achieved that first card of 5 consecutive shots of '10', Mr Ng happened to see and he went, "Stop shooting already, go home and study" and I innocently replied with a "Why?". Felt kind of stupid after realising my reply. haha. Anyway, after training, Mr Ng chased us home to study. A couple of us J2s- Amelia, LQ, Lennon, Felix, Timo and myself decided to have lunch before proceeding home. However, there was this defiance inside us that made us want to have fun instead of going home to study. Actually, my main intention was to study after lunch in school and that's the reason for my bulky bag as I had stuffed all my math books inside!

Brainstorming process took place at the expense of my growling stomach. Was feeling really famished due to mentally draining chem and training thereafter. Anyway, had lots of fun ideas like eating at Vivo, Movie at Marina Square, KBox, Pool... I objected to the KBox idea as I knew very well how "terrific" Lennon's singing was. haha. We then continued with a draggy discussion and afterwhich, finally came to a conclusion of KBox at Hougang Plaza -.- (asked Lennon to treat me if he wanted me to go to KBox haha). The few of us waited at the busstop for the bus that never came...we then automatically discussed other possible alternatives in a rather excited manner, so much so that we attracted the attention of our HOD of Science who grinned upon hearing phrases like "play pool", "kbox" etc. Sensed trouble coming our way as most of us were in our shooting tee! Hope he will forget about the incident and not report us to Mr Ng!

Took a bus to Kovan as we decided to play pool. However, we went to eat first as I was complaining about my hunger! (it was almost 2 and I havn't eaten since 6 plus...) Brainstormed on eating places again but finally decided on QIJI (miracle in Chinese). Entered the eatery but there were no seats...proceeded to the small cafe next to Kobayashi but tables were filled as well...we then decided on New York New York which was a cozy environment for us to chat. Had a pleasant time there, eating, laughing and chatting. Upon leaving, I even had the opportunity to witness 2 young children of about 4-5 years old dancing energetically to the music that was being played (The Way I Are was the song being played at that point in time). Pointed to Amelia what I saw, followed by the rest of us watching the 2 kids dance. To my dismay, both kids saw us watching and stopped dancing upon feeling embarrassed. We then left the place and headed for Pool.

I wasn't an adept at Pool but agreed to play with the rest upon Amelia's persuasion. Had a really enjoyable time playing although I was only a beginner. Had the privilege of being taught how to play Pool by one of our Pool Pros LQ. Timo, Felix and of course my dear Amelia guided me throughout my playing as well, all except for Lennon who was busy mocking me.. haha. We played in pairs, LQ paired with Timo, Amelia and I, Lennon with Felix. LQ and Timo won (really suspect Timo plays Pool frequently as he's really quite good at it haha). Our 2nd match was Riflers against Pistolers but we categorized it as Chelsea v.s. Man U due to the match that was about to take place at 2am if I'm not mistaken? Another reason was due to the fact that LQ is an ardent fan of Chelsea (he has a Chelsea bag, sweater and other stuf) and I am a supporter of Chelsea as well, although not a crazy fan like LQ! Felix and Timo are fans of Man U so we fit in perfectly with the exception of Lennon being a supporter of Man U and Amelia being a supporter of Chelsea haha. Anyway, it was a close fight, Chelsea and Man U but Chelsea emerged victorious! whoots! However, this was not the case for the real soccer match of Chelsea v.s. Man U...sadness...bet LQ must be going "Aaarrgghh" haha. Carried on with bowling as suggested by Amelia after a last game of LQ v.s. Timo.

Bowling. Hadn't touched a bowling ball for very long. Used to be quite good at it, not exceptionally good but not bad as I only played bowling for leisure but was able to hit 100 plus at least? Our game yesterday started and ended horribly for me. I totally forgot how to play bowling and my bowling ball "rolled into the drain" for the first round. Subsequently, LQ tried to teach me how to bowl and I improved slightly, managing an '8' but the next round was total horror. I held the bowling ball and got into position. In the background, I could here LQ shouting, "must swing" a few times and i swung my arm, only to feel the ball slip off my fingers and it landed BACKWARDS. Yes, not forwards, backwards! Felt extremely embarrased with many eyes staring fixedly at me! That was not all. After returning to my seat, I felt pain in my right thumb and to my astonishment, my nail had chipped and my thumb was bleeding. Showed it to Amelia and she brought me to the washroom to rinse my thumb with water. Timo then gave me a plaster and my bowling expedition ended with the injury of my thumb -.-. After a game of bowling, we continued with Arcade games!

Well, I didn't participate in any of the games as I just didn't feel like playing plus my thumb was injured so most of the games were not suitable for me to play haha. The highlight of playing in the Arcade would be Lennon's 'Para Para' dancing! All of us really laughed our hearts out at the sight of Lennon's hilarious yet professional dance moves. Timo managed to capture a footage of Lennon's hilarious dancing and we were all laughing while watching the video as well. After Lennon's dance performance, we met a few J1s- Trendy, Cizhen and Brenda as a few of us J2s were supposed to have dinner with them. All of us then walked in the direction of the food centre as the few of them were supposed to have dinner there. However, Amelia wanted to have dessert so I accompanied, following which the rest of us J2s also agreed upon having dessert before proceeding home. Had a nice time chatting with Amelia and the J1s over a bowl of soursop ice jelly. After our dessert, all of us J2s still felt really high and I jokingly suggested meeting at clark quay later on to go *erhemm*. That was followed on by a serious discussion by the rest of really going there! Amelia also suggested going to Airport Terminal 3 to study the next day. Amelia was really spontaneous about the Clark Quay and Airport outing but I guess we all knew it wouldn't be feasible so we decided to postpone the outings to after Mid Years (guess we were rational students after all). So, the day ended with our crazy outing discussion and all of us went home physically worn out but still feeling rather high. It was truly an awesome getaway from all the studying and murderous exams (we all came to the conclusion that the reason for our craziness was due to our Chem paper!).

To end this super long entry, I shall just thank my shooters for the marvellous time yesterday and I'm looking forward to our next outing after Mid Years haha. For now, we shall all reset our minds to 'study mode' and do our best for the remaining papers ok? All the best for Mid Years! Shooting Huat arh!
