Started wearing the shooting suit for shooting trainings on Wednesday. Was extremely depressed for the whole week due to all the stress from JC academic life and some apparent friendship problem which turned out to be pure misunderstanding! However, I really doubted the concurrent coincidences which eventually weaved into a huge misunderstanding! It's ok if you guys do not understand what I'm talking about because it's for me to know and not for you guys to find out! haha. Reverting back to shooting, initially I thought that only Lin Qiang would be suited up as he told me that Mr Ng told him he'll be suited up on Wednesday. I didn't get wind of such news so naturally I would presume not being one of them wearing the suit. Being a shooting aficionado, the inevitable surge of envy swelled up in my heart no matter how hard I tried to supress it. After all, I'm only human! Besides, shooting IS my passion so you guys can't blame me for being jealous! haha. ok. Anyway, entered the shooting range on Wednesday with a heavy heart and to worsen the situation, the first thing that caught my eye was Lin Qiang holding on to a pair of shooting pants! Oh, imagine the misery! lol...well, I took it in my stride so I tried not to let it affect me! However, pleasantly surprised, Lin Qiang shouted that I was going to be suited up as well. It was as if he knew that I required emotional aid desperately and thus was eager to break the joyous news! haha. You people should have seen how my expression changed at that instant. It was that split second transition, those simple yet powerfully impactful words that created the tremendous change of mood! my literally black, long face wearing a frown immediately lit up and believe me, my spirits were elevated by a whole lot! haha. Was intensely excited as it would be my first time wearing the shooting apparel. Had lots of modifications to be made as well as familiarising with the suit. Primarily, Lin Qiang and I were supposed to be wearing the new jackets but unfortunately, the size was kind of small for him so he had to wear Jessica's (Jessica Ma'am! haha. still not used to calling only her name!) jacket and pants as well. I wore the new jacket at first but after a while, Mr Ng realised that it was kind of over-sized for me so Ms Lin searched for an 'S' sized one. The new jackets were basically 'M' or 'L' sized which is kind of huge for me! lol. Eventually, Ms Lin gave me Daryl's jacket which was an 'S'...wore Joo Kee's pants...so basically, I wore male seniors' jacket and pants while Lin Qiang wore a female senior's jacket and pants. Once again, I've proven yet another irony in life! haha. Anyway, the feeling of wearing the suit was 'Wheew'-1. you feel as if you're being baked! 2. the stability attained from wearing the suit was out of this world! A truly awesome feeling if you're a shooting fanatic like me who becomes oblivious to comfort when optimum stability is achieved! lol!Became real lunatic that day, both Lin Qiang and I, as we played 'Catching' in our suits! Imagine the scene of hilarity- 2 robotic clowns "chasing" each other in a penguin-like motion! haha. We really looked like penguins when we walked in the suit as there was much restriction to our movements. Spastic photographs were also snapped by the ever-enthusiastic Bryan and Sheryl-lynn, with the aid of Timothy's 3.2 mega pixel camera handphone! Bryan even took an unauthorised video of Lin Qiang and I acting childish in our suits! haha. Today was fun also because we started wearing long sleeved shirts. Was horribly hot and sweaty as it was stuffy wearing the long sleeved shirt, moreover with the addition of the toasting suit! All the girls said my outfit was kind of sexy today...low cut ....didn't really find it that low cut though, just v-shaped neck. haha. 2nd phase of photographing continued today with more spastic pictures taken...this time with towels! haha. To sum everything up, it was indeed 2 fun-filled shooting experiences and yes, shooting is TRULY MY PASSION!
