Tomorrow is yet another major hurdle in which many of us have to get through. I know that most of us are inhabiting feelings of anxiety, worry etc. and I do know that it is natural for us to feel so. However, do keep in mind that whatever the outcome may be tomorrow, it has already been fixed, so rationally, we should not be stressed over something in which the result cannot be ammended to our preference. Then again, most humans are irrational so I can understand why most of us are having negative feelings towards something so important as the release of our O'lvl results tomorrow. Many of us see results day as doomsday. For the pessimistic, there is a link between results and doom. For the optimistic, there is obviously no link between results and doom. The outcome of events depend solely on the individual. A certain outcome shared by 2 people, 1 pessimist and 1 optimist, will definitely be handled differently. The pessimist may think that it is the end of the world and what point is there in living when he or she has a seemingly bleak future? On the other hand, the optimist will take the situation in a different light and start seeking other options available and carry on with life. In life, we are given opportunities to make choices. To choose how certain situations turn out is entirely up to us. For tomorrow's case, maybe some of us may not achieve the results we desire but to view it in an optimistic or pessimistic way is our decision. Always bear in mind that what we want may not be what is good for us. Although it may seem to us at that point in time that all our hopes are dashed and why life can be so unfair etc. , we never know what surpises life has instore for us and who knows, the route that you are supposedly "forced" to take may turn out brighter and better for you! Most importantly, do NOT wallow in self-pity or become suicidal (spare a thought for your loved ones!) but instead, pick up the broken pieces and get on with life. There are no dead ends in life so do not ever create a dead end for yourself by being despondent and depressed. Face every challenge or hurdle with optimism and you'll be surprised how things work out for you!
