"Bang! Bang! Choo-choo-train, let me here you say again, Bang! Argo is the best, Bang! Argo is the best, Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! ..." Started out with high spirits and was full of anticipation for the OGL camp. However, as time went by, it didn't turn out so nice. There were so few enthusiastic people in Argo. Most of us were like spiritless and dead, in the sense that if people depended on batteries to function, the majority of the people would be like running on low battery. To add on to my disappointment, the number of OGLs in Argo as compared to the number in the other families are like so few. Subsequently, my spirits were dampened. If I could maintain high spirits throughout would certainly be a miracle. However, I still put in my utmost best for Argo because I really wanted Argo to win. Seeing the other Argo OGLs not even cheering when there I was screaming my lungs out until I practically almost lost my voice really suppressed my enthusiasm. Well, I guess I cannot really blame them, because not all of us OGLs willingly joined OGL camp as it was made compulsory for the repeats. Fortunately, on the second day of camp, all of us became more enthusiastic and our spirits were really elevated. However, we didn't seem to be able to beat Bismarck in terms of cheering and enthusiasm. Maybe it's due to the small number of people we had as compared to Bismarck. Had loads of games and a mini workshop on how to be an OGL by Vanessa and how to be a leader by Amos. Food was, erhem, what shall I say? Like the food we had on Fusion night, if you guys remember how it tasted like! Anyway, even though we really hoped to clinch championship, deep down inside we already knew Bismarck would snatch the title away from us. To add on to our dismal, we didn't even clinch 2nd place! We were lagging behind Bismarck by 300 points initially, then subsequently we were still 2nd but lagged behind Bismarck by 1000 plus points?! That was a really huge blow. Worse still, when the results were announced, Demeter clinched 2nd...I'm not saying that Argo deserves it more than Demeter but I'm really disappointed that Argo didn't win at all. Well, OGL camp isn't just about winning but I was really expecting Argo to win and Argo to be most enthusiastic, much to my disappointment. I apologise if I've offended anyone at this point. I'm just sad, that's all. However, I think Argo has done our best and even if we didn't win OGL camp, I believe we'll make things happen during 2nd Orientation! Argo Boleh!
Btw, the song that's currently being played is the song for our OGL Walk In titled 'Show Me The Money' by Petey Pablo, a soundtrack from the movie 'Step Up'. The song can also be found in my imeem music playlist on the left. Do check out the songs I've been listening to ok?
