It was my birthday on Wednesday, but unfortunately, I was too busy on that day or rather I'm busy on school days so I didn't have time to blog about it. Well, I don't really think much about my birthday, due to certain reasons which some of you are aware of. Anyway, I started out thinking my birthday would not be remembered and that I'll just have a lonely birthday. To my surprise, that day became one of my best birthdays! haha, received multiple messages and even presents, birthday song from the shooting team and very heartwarmingly, a special visit from ger and sally! haha, you guys don't know how awfully touched I was! Many people wished me a happy birthday as well, so that day didn't turn out horrible after all. Keet wanted to come celebrate with me but it was kind of inconvenient so well, it's ok, we can go out sometime! I would like to thank everyone who wished me a happy birthday and you guys truly made my day!Ok, actually, i sort of persuaded my mother persistantly to earn my outing with the 2 geraldines and sally today. This usually happens when you have parents who reign a tight control over you! Couldn't go for OG outing so i was compensated, well, after much persuasion with a smaller scaled outing. Started the morning with eating dim sum and porridge at the coffee shop near heartland mall. Not too bad but I've never eaten there before although having been a resident in Kovan for nearly 9 years, beat that! Ok, I shall not diverge...back to main topic. The food was ok, however, I doubt the stall's hygiene. Why do I say so? Ok, started out with Jellybean wanting to use the pepper, then ger was like asking what the black stuff in the pepper holder was. I told her maybe it was pepper seeds and she thought it was those kind of rice grains they put in salt holders. However, to our horror, those black things started moving...thank goodness I didn't use the pepper! Very unfortunately for Sally, she had already used the pepper before we discovered the crawling things in the pepper! After finishing our breakfast, we made a short trip to 7-Eleven before proceeding to the Arcade. Initially, we had wanted to go bowling but unfortunately, both geraldines forgot to bring socks and coincidentally, the bowling lanes were unavailable as bowling training was going on. So, due to the compelling circumstances, we were left with the next best alternative (Econs- Opp Cost) which was the arcade. Played quite a few games (seriously, I suck at the beat-mixer game!) until we decided to go but Sally suggested going to KBox and for a first-timer like me who had never stepped into such a location before in my 17 years of life was obviously tempted and thus had to make an immensely critical call which would determine my plight- phone call to ask my mum for permission to go to KBox. As expected, my mum replied with her ever so familiar and resounding firm "No!". However, when my mum meets her match- her ever so persistant daughter (Me), sometimes her firm stands get thrown off by this opponent. So, with my usual fact-twisting (if you know what I mean) and inexorable persuasion, she finally caved in. Victoriously, I went along with the 3 of them to KBox. KBox was extremely fun! Sang many songs, there were so many nice songs we wanted to listen to and sing but time was scarce (Econs- Scarcity) thus, we had to start deleting songs and stuff but on the whole, it was really fun! Bumped into some SR peeps and I even popped into their cabin to say "hi" on behalf of Jellybean! (her CG mate was in the cabin opposite ours) Ok, I believe this entry is long enough so shall end here. Hope to post soon! haha. Btw, on friday we also had a mini shooting competition and I managed 106 out of 200 points, average 5.3 . Not bad for a first timer they said but I want and shall achieve better results! Strive harder SR shooting team! Our gold trophey awaits!
