Started out with an irritating morning yesterday as I waited for almost 3 hours to apply for my visa to China. Stood for 2 over hours because there were so many people and very few seats available. Some people even cut the queue! Never mind. Later, went to meet Keet, Verena and Julie at Far East Plaza to shop for things. haha. After spending some time there, we walked to the Heeren to shop and look for some stuff. However, it was RAINING!!! Only Julie had an umbrella and we couldn't possibly squeeze all 4 of us under 1 umbrella, so we decided to let Julie walk with Verena first then she would come back to get me and Keet. Suddenly, Keet and I had this crazy idea to just dash out into the rain and believe me, the distance wasn't short. So, we just hurriedly dashed out into the pouring rain and got ourselves all soaking wet. We ran from Takashimaya all the way to the Heeren. Imagine that! Throughout the journey, the both of us kept laughing as we both felt really silly. haha. It was kind of cold in the shopping mall as we were really soaked. Then, met lots of Cedarians there. haha. Met Jaslyn, Teresa, Yin Yue and other schoolmates. Later, we decided to take some neo prints and the first one we took turned out horrible- everyone looked like a vampire! The second one that we tooked turned out much much better. The prints turned out as if you had applied make-up before shooting. haha. After which, we decided to get back to Far East as Verena wanted to buy her heels and Keet had to get presents. Unfortunately, it was still raining cats and dogs. We really didn't wish to get drenched all over again as our clothes had just began to dry. However, we couldn't really wait for the rain to stop as it was getting a little late. So, this time, Verena and I squeezed under Julie's umbrella while Keet used her sweater hood to shelter her head. The 4 of us dashed out into the pouring rain again, but I guess the umbrella really couldn't contain 3 people so in the end, I went out of the umbrella and accompanied Keet who was left out in the rain. haha. Although this time I got extremely wet, it was fun I guess. We both started laughing at ourselves as we could really "squeeze ourselves dry" (we were super soaked until we could squeeze water out from our clothes and hair!) It really was freezing cold this time as we were totally drenched. After Verena bought her heels, we decided to go home and I called my mum to pick me up as it was still raining. Keet and Verena accompanied me to wait for my parents as they didn't want to leave me alone. Really felt bad because I didn't want to hold them up. Thank you Keet and Verena for waiting and Julie for your umbrella!When my parents picked me up, my mum scolded me for getting so wet and later my mum suggested buying a top for me to change into as we were going to Marina Square for dinner. My father was like, "Just let her wear a jacket over, don't need to buy any clothes". However, my mum was very concerned and insisted that I should change out of my soaking wet clothes. So, my mum and I went to U2 to get me a new top but I also wanted to change out of my jeans as they were wet, so in the end I just picked a top and a skirt and went into the fitting room. My mum said the clothes fitted me, so I just came out of the fitting room with the clothes and the sales girl helped me cut the price tags off and I just walked out of U2 with the clothes. haha. I love my mum!
