the sun was scorching today and i'm now as red as a lobster! my face, my hands and my legs are on fire! help! it hurts! ok, shall not delve into this point and keep everyone who doesn't know the results in suspense.as you all know from my previous entry or by word of mouth, today was our national footdrill competition 0'6... cedar came in champion for south district and first runner-up for nationals. there was a fair bit of tears shed by many because we all feel that we should have clinched champion for all. i was also surprised that raffles institution, which did not beat us for south district championship suddenly caught up with a display of smart drills. perhaps they were spurred on when they got into the top 3 positions for south district and had the motivation to clinch the championship for nationals. although we didn't clinch overall championship, we know that all fdc members have put in their utmost best and therefore, we shall not be discouraged and work harder next year. i'll be there to support you guys! last but not the least, zhen luan, although you didn't manage to get best commander, but we know that you have put in a lot of effort to sustain the squad and you are a 'best commander' in all our hearts~!here's a big thank you to all fdc members.
