"a wedding is a sacred event which brings 2 people who are in love, together". Honestly, i do not think that many people still regard matrimony as a sacred event. just by looking at the increasing divorce rates tell you so. In this present society, most people just treat marriage as a 'play thing'. once they're tired of it, they call it quits, thus contributing to the high divorce rates in our current society. of course, there are also people who regard their marriage highly.
Attended my neighbour's wedding ceremony today at the old parliament house. quite a unique place to hold a wedding. heard that it cost them $1000 just to rent that place for a couple of hours. well, i guess everything there was ok. i liked the food? haha. the best part was being able to sit in the room where they used to hold parliament meetings. man, the cushion seats were comfortable! there were also translation buttons in the 4 different languages where you could translate the speakers' speech. cool. oh yeah, and the part i "enjoyed" most was when my mum volunteered me to play on the grand piano just to entertain the guests. i was like, "huh? i volunteered?" then my mum was like preparing the piano for me so i just went over and played a piece. haha. 'marriage d' amour' (zl, you like this song right?) anyway, was not bad though, the feeling, especially when there were people applauding me. haha. felt good. then, my sister was dragged to the piano to play 2 songs.
anyway, guess that's about all coz my entry is too long. shall end here! toodles!
