Just came back from malaysia, to be precise, malacca. haha. well, firstly, zl, thanks, i "had fun". ok now to tell you all the details of my 2 day trip.the good points of malacca. lets see....1) their traffic lights have countdown timers so you will know how much longer you have to wait for the traffic light to turn green or how much time you have before it turns red. ok, not very interesting, but singapore does not have this. 2)their petrol kiosk pumps are much more advanced than here as well (i shall not go into the details). 3)the things they sell there are relatively cheaper if you convert the prices to singapore dollars, sometimes they're cheaper even if you don't convert. 4)the people there, well it depends, are friendlier? 5)they have lots of museums and have trishaw rides- the trishaws are beautifully decorated with lots of different coloured flowers. ok, now for the not very nice parts. 1)people spit on roads like it's a common thing to do.....2)they're a little backward in terms of the parking system- they've just introduced the ticketing machine in shopping centres. people were so curious that when a family member was paying for the parking at the ticketing machine, the whole gang was present as well which caused my family to think that there was a long queue to pay for the parking while in actual fact, it was just the few people paying for it. i found this person funny when he asked, "hey, do they give you change or not? if you put in extra?" well, i can't blame their curiosity but it really is funny. sorry if i've offended anybody for writing this stuff. ok, now for whatever's happened to me during these 2 days. a series of unfortunate events. when i was about to go out today, there was something on my shoe.....lizard shit!!! oh my gosh, i was disgusted and that was my only shoe!!! so, i had to use a wet tissue to clean the "lucky" or for some, "unlucky" eeww stuff on my shoe and had to wear it. so much for a holiday. then, i couldn't get anything when i went shopping!!! my sister managed to buy a blouse and a pair of pants and you know what i got? socks. yup, socks. school socks to be precise. i went to malaysia to buy 4 pairs of school socks. how nice. but actually, i managed to buy a blouse also, although i didn't really like it that much. however, there were also nice stuff. the food was good!(of course you must know where to get the good food) the wanton mee and char kway teow is delicious man! the kueh there is also nice and they have extremely little colouring added. ok, enough of blabbering for now. got another adventure coming up soon. shall tell you all in a few days!
